Pay ranges from $22/hour to $25/hour, depending on experience level and shift. ADDITIONAL $5/HR FOR ANY HOURS WORKED ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY!! $1000 Signing Bonus (payable after 90 days of successful employment)!! A small, family owned soybean processing plant in Cherokee, IA is hiring a 1st shift Refinery Operator to join their growing team. This Refinery Operator works on a team to monitor and adjust parameters while processing a wide variety of edible oils. 

The knowledge to operate Boom Lifts, Tractors, Semis CDL is a plus. Also, having mechanical knowledge of pumps, valves, and steam systems is a plus. You must have a great attitude and be willing to try new things, and embrace changes, as we are growing at a rapid pace!

• Keep records of materials processed.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Regulate the flow of materials to and from conveyors, chutes, pumps, or storage bins.
• Adjust equipment such as screens, conveyors, and fans, to control or vary size or grade of product, or to maintain a uniform flow of materials.
• Clean and lubricate equipment.
