Operations Technician, AgState - Cherokee

This position will assist in the Operations of the Cherokee elevator location and may require travel to other AgState locations as assigned. This position is perfect for someone who is looking to broaden their career and seeks opportunities for development.

8:00AM to 4:30PM plus seasonal hours

• Valid Class A CDL
• Ability to work overtime as required to meet seasonal business needs 
• Good computer skills

• Support the elevator operations
  1. Receive, dry, blend, and load grain.
  2. Measure grain inventory as needed
  3. Prepare grain rail cars and load cars according to specifications as needed
  4. Maintain grain conditions
• Support all aspects of Agronomy Operations
  1. Handle ag chemicals and fertilizer
  2. Understand chemical rates, uses, and restrictions.
• Abide by our values and practices by:
  1. Working in a safe & efficient manner 
  2. Providing superior customer service
  3. Performing equipment and facility maintenance including housekeeping, daily maintenance checks, and basic maintenance as required
  4. Assisting other locations, as needed
