Under direction of the Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, or replacing all equipment, facilities or rolling stock. May include the construction or disassembly of equipment at facilities. Additionally participates in the installation maintenance, and repairs to equipment, machinery, physical structures, and pipe systems in commercial or industrial establishments by performing the following duties.

 

Desired Qualifications:
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license
  • Ability to travel to other locations as needed
  • Agricultural/Welding experience (preferred, not required)

Duties:
  • Support the maintenance efforts of our grain and agronomy facilities by:
    • Performing and documenting preventative maintenance and other repairs as well as performing visual inspections and testing machinery and equipment
    • Scheduling and performing maintenance at Company locations and document the actions taken and repairs made
    • Dismantling defective machines and equipment and perform repairs or install new equipment
    • Evaluating projects for cost to determine price is at a fair market level
    • Cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
    • Assembling, installing and maintaining pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment
    • Performing repairs and maintaining physical structures
    • Operating various hand tools, welding equipment, cutting torches, equipment, and company vehicles to conduct repairs
    • Perming general housekeeping as needed
  • Abide by values and practices by:
    • Working in a safe & efficient manner according to safety policies
    • Providing above average customer service
    • Performing other duties as requested

You Can:

  • Stand or walk for most of the shift
  • Stoop, bend, climb, withstand exposure to heights, hot and cold temperatures
  • Lift 50 lbs. from the floor to minimum height of 36”
  • Work overtime as required
  • Work in a dust-filled environment as needed
  • Wear a respirator when required
