Cherokee, IowaWe’re hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in our facilities.
Pay starts at $30 per hour based on experience, depending on shift. ADDITIONAL $5/HR FOR ALL HOURS WORKED ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY!! $1000 Sign-On Bonus (after completion of successful 90-day period)! We require a high school diploma or the equivalent. You must have 4+ years of applicable maintenance experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge and use of computer programs, spreadsheets, database and scheduling software is preferred, but not required. Some travel may be required to our production sites.

- Dismantling defective machines and equipment and installing new or repaired parts.
- Cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Installing and repairing electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairing and replacing gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Repairing and maintaining the physical structure of the establishment.
- Installing, programming, or repairing automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.
- Setting-up and operating machine tools such as a lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
- Operating a cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
