Desired Qualifications:

Successful candidate must have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, a commitment to confidentiality, excellent communication skills and the ability to work with computers and Microsoft software. Experience as a legal secretary or paralegal is preferred.

The Legal Secretary - Paralegal will prepare and review legal documents, conduct legal research, maintain the docketing system, answer phones, and prepare dictation. Additional duties may include the collection of unpaid fines, analyzing court files, monitoring payment schedules, and calculating unpaid fines.

Location: Cherokee, Iowa

Experience: Experience as a legal secretary or paralegal is preferred.
