Information Technology Manager, Health Care Recruiters International - Cherokee

A vital leadership role within the hospital to lead IT department with responsibility for Information technology, Information Technology strategic direction, oversight of vendor technology products and platforms used in the organization, and ensuring appropriate levels of information privacy and security oversight and controls. Under minimal supervision, the Manager of Information Technology proactively manages the staff of the IT department and oversees all IT department related functions including the IT project portfolio, software, server and network administration, and the Information Security Program.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

• Associate Degree in Information Technology or related field required, Bachelor Degree preferred.
• An equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or relevant certifications will be considered.

• SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong knowledge of hospital policies and procedures as well as governmental regulations.
  • Strong business understanding on how healthcare works and the internal and external factors that can affect its performance.
  • Strong background in principles and procedures of patient care and demonstrated ability to provide safe, expedient and effective care to patients.
  • Demonstrates a strong knowledge base in clinical practice and high critical thinking.
  • Demonstrates expertise in leadership and management skills.
  • Demonstrates a basic knowledge in finance and budgeting.
  • Must demonstrate capability for teamwork and collaboration; consistently contributing to a positive work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
