Duties:
Data Entry, Management and Reporting
- Administrator for HIRIS system – system expert and support managers and other HR personnel with expertise
- Accurately maintain multiple databases and systems with employee information
- Maintain and update employee files in strict confidence and ensure proper documents are distributed and retained in compliance with Federal/State laws
- Process incoming requests for employment verifications or other information by outside agencies
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of regularly scheduled HR data and metric reporting
- Create analytical spreadsheets and presentations
Payroll Processing
- Ensure system functionality to accurately record time and calculate pay
- Work closely with employees and managers to ensure timely, accurate and compliant pay procedures
- Accurately manage payroll earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments and other impacts to employee pay
- Coordinate employee leave process to ensure accurate tracking of hours, PTO and benefit contributions
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
Benefits Administration
- Coordinate benefits by enrolling new employees, processing all forms, distributing enrollment packets and other paperwork, preparing proper notifications for terminated employees and providing premium data to payroll department
- Coordinate benefits administration and Open Enrollments
- Verify calculations related to billing and insurance premiums
- Assist in completing benefits reporting requirements, audits and distribution of notices
- Address employee inquiries regarding benefits
Support Engagement
- Support implementation of programs to promote employee performance, engagement, satisfaction and retention.
- Assist with the Performance Review process to ensure reviews are returned to Human Resources in a timely manner and completed
- Track individual professional development plans for employees
- Conduct exit interviews and track turnover metrics.
- Monitor and track training through the LMS, enroll new associates in required training offerings
Customer Service
- First point of contact for employees on any HR related queries; Assist employees with questions related to benefits, FMLA, and other HR related programs and offerings
- Communicating with external partners
- Support the Human Resources team with daily administrative and clerical tasks
- Support recruiting activities
- Helping with various arrangements internally, including travel, events and processing expenses
- Other work as assigned
