all in one place? The WITCC Cherokee Conference
Center is the ideal location for your next business
meeting or family gathering.
 The
WITCC Conference Center is located at the Western
Iowa Tech Community College Cherokee Campus. Opened in 1996, the Conference Center is the only
facility of its kind in northwest Iowa. It serves
as an excellent site to host area trade shows, meetings,
seminars and conferences. It is capable of seating
up to 450 people for banquets, dances and both business
and private parties.
The
WITCC Conference Center's experienced and courteous
staff will assist you in every phase of event planning.
Chairs and tables will be set up according to your
needs. Microphones, podiums, video screens, overhead
and slide projectors, easels, flipcharts, televisions,
VCRs, a piano and an organ are also available to
aid you in your conference or event presentations.
Events
are catered by Hy-Vee's kitchen. Catering provides
a wide selection of delicious entrees and creative
decorating custom-tailored for your event.
WITCC
Conference Center is open Monday-Thursday from 7:30
a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Friday through Sunday, 7:30
a.m. to 12 midnight. Tours are available upon request.
Center
Accommodations
Host your next event with style and convenience
in Cherokee's most versatile facility. With seating
for 450 people, the approximately 8,000 square foot
conference center can serve as a large exhibit hall
or be divided into one large room and two smaller
meeting or banquet rooms. The Center also contains
a 16 by 16 foot video production screen, portable
stage and a large door for equipment and vehicle
entrance.
Monte
& Mary Beck Doupe Commons Area
The sky-lighted commons area provides a relaxing
atmosphere before and after your special event or
conference. The smoke and tobacco-free facility
is fully accessible to the handicapped.
John
B. & Jennie M. Keeline Auditorium
With 176 fixed seats equipped with retractable tabletops
and a large video projection screen, the Keeline
Auditorium is a complete lecture and audiovisual
theatre with excellent acoustics.
ICN
Classroom
Conference Center guests may also use the Iowa Communications
Network (ICN) Classroom available to transmit meetings
and training programs over a statewide network.
